SP&S 760 Caboose - 4/23/26 Work Party

Wednesday was raining again, so we switched to Thursday. Today we had John, Gene and Rob working.

 
We got the south wall screwed down to the floor and added vertical framing members.
On the outside the siding was removed from the south end.


The rotted diagonal board was removed. It will be replace with a vertical stud next to the window.
We tightened up the tie rods, but the last tie rod still needs to be installed. I left the Forstner bit at home.


The fly rafter was primed and installed. Looking good. Next time we may be able to start on the sheathing!
